If you have normal/dry skin and you're using the one for oily skin, its going to crack up on your face and make it even more dryer, so that's why? you need to re-apply. I have an extremely oily skin and w/ this foundation I don't have to re-apply 'cuz it'll stay ALL day, literally! Its even a little difficult to remove and I only do one layer. So they are different from finished pigments and loose eye shadows that you purchase in the store. They do sell the ingredients to mix with the micas to make them a finished makeup. I'm NOT speaking from? experience because I don't use their micas for makeup, but I think that may be the reason for the problems that you are having. I'm just going off of what I have read.
