Retinol is a bunch of b.s. if you use too much. The sun is NOT the worst enemy though b/c you need the sun in moderation to avoid Vit D deficiency. There are a lot of women who have it and don't know-look it up though and see all the effects from being D deficient-not good. It's all about your genetics, your health, what and how you eat..most on the inside and of course taking care of out, but inside is where it comes from along w/genetics. ?

You say this dermatologist was beautiful with perfect skin, she was pulling your leg, genetics is why she has beautiful skin, it probably isnt what she puts on her face. I? tried retinol and it doesnt work on white skin because it peels off a layer of skin, and then the sun gets to you. The worse enemy of white skin and light skinned black people is the sun.

you seem like a nice woman. Retinol is one that works. Unfortunately you can't compare the percentage of Retinol in nonprescription retinol products...because? they don't have to put the percentage. So watch out folks for products that claim to have a retinoid and actually have just a tiny precentage so they say that. I think it's reasonable to go with a well known magazines' tested recommendations because of this...presumably the ones that work best would have enough retinol in them

Argan nuts are cracked by hand and it employs women in Morocco, so that is a common ground for almost all argan companies. What differentiates one from another, is the quality of the argan nuts (not sure the exact details of this) and the method of extraction. Machine cold press is best because it? doesn't require anything to be added to the nuts to press them, whereas hand pressed requires H20 to be added then removed negatively affects argan oil quality (research proven)

i have no association with amal oils, i love their product and the owner is Moroccan which is awesome. I've tried Shea Terra before, they use hand pressed oils, a method that makes lower quality argan oil. You should try Amal Oils, you'll see the difference. They have some other great products though that Amal Oils doesn't have that are great, like shea butter. Being African American myself, I love? that Shea Terra supports lots of countries in Africa.

you found a great brand? yet your name is the brand that you're selling.. nice! i would highly recommend Shea Terra Organics Argan Oil, i have no? association with the company aside from being a consumer. stop using the microwave to heat things up because it destroys all the natural enzymes and nutrients of whatever you place in there.

If you don't want to use the microwave (cuz it's gross and you should stop!) put the oil in a small bowl. add boiling water to a coffee cup/mug. put the small bowl over the cup. the steam will melt the honey to the consistency you want much faster than 20? secs in the micro. and then you can have some tea before the mask hardens too much.

As a person who has made products with preservative systems I am stating? facts based on that knowledge, not my personal opinion, nor am I a germaphobe. My intention is to inform those who are interested in stretching their products that there are real risks in diluting a product which can lead to some hard to treat skin and eye infections, not just rashes. Something to consider if the entire family is using the diluted product daily. I do not take offense to your opinion, take care.

why worry over the little things:P still the day something bad happens to my skin ill stop. but my skins great. iv added water to products in the? past iv made my own gel shadows and used some. alcohol is a better choice for things like that. But i hope my opinion doesn offend you:) i just oppose and to me it seems silly but i get your point. i do know some water is way worse than others. so i might be in a better water supply district. so yeah:/

Iv used distilled water in labs and really thats cool for you. But im not going to be a germaphobe nor many people who do this as well:P the day i get a rash of some kind Ill come back and let you tell me 'i told you so' :P But iv listened to people gripe about tap water an I say don't drink it but skin wise. and using? it for things, i haven seen a diff or a bad reaction. It has alot of chlorine and things that counter act, and nothing is completely bacteria free nor should it ever be

When formulating? cosmetics I only use distilled water, or flower water (hydrosols). Tap water is contaminated by traveling through city pipes. I also add a preservative that will keep the product from growing bacteria or mold cultures. A preservative system becomes diluted and not effective when the original formulation is altered or changed in any way. I would not want to take that risk. A just drawn bath does not contain the same level of contaminants & is not a serious risk.

And pretty much all liquid creme make up products have water in it:P how do you know what kinda of h2o they are putting in it??? hmm? you dont. :P there is no way of knowing. You also would be washing your face in the same kind of water shed be adding in the bottle but really. if you left a glass of tap on the counter it wouldn just grow mold. Many people make their own makeup prods. js.?
